The scrap metal cutting shears apply to metal recycling and processing plants, end-of-life vehicle dismantling facilities, and manufacturing/foundry industries for the cutting and shearing of various structural steel shapes and metal materials. Suitable materials include light/thin steel, rebar, steel plates, nickel plates, round steel, steel pipes, scrap copper, scrap steel, light metal structural components, stainless steel, metal bales, car bodies, aluminum alloys, copper materials, iron filings, steel wire, and other heavy scrap or tangled materials that standard shredders cannot process.

 

The scrap metal cutting shears consist of a shearing cylinder, a shearing blade, a hold-down blade (mounted on a sliding block), a lower blade seat, and a hold-down cylinder. During operation, the hydraulic pump station supplies oil to the hold-down cylinder, pushing the hold-down blade against the lower blade seat to securely clamp the material. Subsequently, the pump station supplies oil to the shearing cylinder, driving the shearing blade downward to complete the cut. After shearing, the hydraulic system facilitates the return stroke by allowing oil to flow back from the shearing and hold-down cylinders.
