Aluminum-plastic composite (APC) separator is specialized equipment for separating aluminum and plastic from waste APCs. They are suitable for separating most types of waste APCs on the market. APCs are composed of aluminum and plastic composites, which need to be separated during recycling. Traditional separation methods are often inefficient, while APC separators utilize gas heating technology to quickly and accurately separate aluminum and plastic, improving recycling efficiency. For large, defective APC sheets from APC manufacturers, we provide an APC cutting machine that efficiently cuts the sheets to the feed inlet width before APC separation.

Products Operation

1. Preheat the ACP separator equipment: Connect the power supply (or gas), start the heating system, and preheat the equipment (usually 5-10 minutes). Adjust the upper and lower sets of fans to control the flame size. Once the flame is at a suitable level and stable, begin feeding.

2. Feed evenly: Place the pre-treated aluminum composite panels flat on the conveyor belt, maintaining a spacing (approximately 5-10cm) to avoid stacking and ensure even heating of each panel.

3. During heating, the plastic layer will soften or melt and peel off from the aluminum layer. If separation is incomplete, it may be due to insufficient temperature or too short a heating time. Extend the dwell time or fine-tune the feeding speed.

4. After separation, the aluminum sheets and plastic fragments are conveyed out and must first be cooled by a cooling device (such as air cooling or water cooling) to prevent the accumulation of hot materials and potential fire.
