The commercial coffee bean roaster machine use hot air to roast coffee beans. The generation of hot air requires a heat source, usually natural gas or electric heating. The hot air passes through a circulation system so that the hot air flows evenly through the coffee beans to ensure that the coffee beans can be evenly heated. The circulation system consists of a fan, a hot air duct and an exhaust duct. The hot air is transported to the roasting chamber through the hot air duct, and the fan of the hot air duct blows the hot air evenly to form a roasting area, thereby heating the coffee beans. Due to the different sizes, shapes and densities of coffee beans, different wind speeds and temperatures need to be adjusted for roasting. Working Principle
During roasting, the oxygen in the roasting chamber interacts with the air, and needs to be adjusted through the air inlet and outlet to avoid excessive roasting or burning of the coffee beans.
When the air inlet is closed and the exhaust port is opened, the hot air circulates upward, and at the same time, a negative pressure is generated in the room, and air is inhaled. When the air inlet is opened and the exhaust port is closed, the hot air and the new air mix to produce an oxidation reaction, which increases the indoor oxygen content and promotes the roasting of coffee beans.
The roasting time of coffee is determined according to different roasting degrees and wind speeds. The commercial coffee bean roaster machine is generally equipped with a time controller to preset the roasting time. The length of the roasting time depends on the type of coffee beans and the taste and flavor you want.
