This machine uses high-pressure water jets to remove the skin from walnut kernels. The astringent skin negatively affects taste and complicates the processing of products such as walnut milk, walnut paste, fresh-packed walnuts, candied (amber) walnuts, and walnut-based beverages. Our newly developed machine employs a purely physical washing process-replacing traditional chemical soaking methods-to ensure a safer, more reliable product. It features continuous operation, ease of use, a high peeling rate, and a high level of automation, thereby saving labor costs; it can also be integrated with a drying unit.
