Maintenance:
Electrical Safety: Ensure proper electrical safety. Wire the motor strictly according to the specifications on the label, and connect the ground wire securely before starting the slicer.
Pre-Startup Check: Before starting the machine, manually turn the belt pulley to let it run idle. Verify that the cutter head rotates normally and ensure no metal debris enters the cutting chamber. If abnormal sounds occur, stop immediately and address the issue before proceeding.
Moisture Content: To ensure a high qualified rate of wood chips and extend the service life of the flying knives, the moisture content of raw materials should ideally be between 30% and 40%. If the wood is too dry, add an appropriate amount of water as needed during slicing.
Tool Maintenance: If the qualified rate of wood chips decreases, sharpen the cutting tools using specialized sharpening equipment. This ensures the cutting edge angle and sharpness are maintained. Our company offers dedicated knife-sharpening equipment.
Tool Clearance: Adjust the tool clearance to be greater than 0.2mm but less than 0.4mm for optimal performance.
