Wood Cutting Band Saw

The upper wheel (steel part) of the wood cutting band saw uses double bearings (4 bearings), the lower wheel (cast iron) of the band saw machine uses double bearings, and the body is made of cast iron, which increases the service life of the bearings. This band saw machine uses a ring-shaped endless band saw blade as a saw tool, which is wound around two saw wheels and performs one-way continuous linear motion to cut wood. It is mainly composed of a bed, saw wheel, upper saw wheel lifting and tilting device, band saw blade tensioning device, saw blade guide device, workbench, guide plate, etc. The bed is made of cast iron.

A band saw is a machine that uses a high-speed saw wheel to drive a saw blade to cut wood. The following points should be noted during operation:

1. Before driving, you must check whether the joints are tight, whether the adjustment bolts are tight enough, whether each control handle (handle) is flexible and reliable and in neutral; whether there are any obstacles in the rotating part, and add lubricating grease according to regulations (including all parts of the sports car) ).

2. Saw blade installation and inspection: When the rolled and sharpened saw blade is installed on the saw machine, adjust the upper saw wheel so that the saw blade is properly tensioned. Pull the upper saw wheel by hand and carefully check the saw blade for cracks, scars (especially at the interface), scars and other defects. If there are any gaps, change them.

3. Observe in detail whether the saw blade passes through the center of the saw block (upper and lower). If it is deflected, adjust the saw block and maintain an appropriate gap on the side of the saw blade, generally 0.15~0.25 mm. Turn the upper saw wheel by hand so that the teeth of the saw blade are evenly exposed for about 1.0 mm from the edge of the saw wheel without significant movement (generally no more than 3~5 mm). If the movement is large, the upper saw wheel can be adjusted. (even re-rolling saw blades)

4. Check whether the cooling pipe is smooth and contains water, and adjust the size and distance of the water spray appropriately to ensure cooling of the saw blade.

5. Sports car inspection: whether the stuck wooden piles, cross-boat slides, rocker mechanisms, and evacuation devices are flexible and reliable, and whether the traction steel rope or chain is appropriately tight. The retreat distance should be maintained at 1.0~1.5 mm.

6. After the band saw is running normally, disengage the upper saw wheel adjustment handwheel clutch for adjustment. Operators (workers) are not allowed to stand in the danger zone (in front of the saw wheel rotation direction), and they are not allowed to overload the equipment.

7. If you want to modify the wood, you must carefully remove the iron nails and hard stones embedded in the wood, and firmly fix them on the skid before processing.

8. Adjust the height of the saw chuck according to the size of the wood. Select the appropriate feeding speed according to the size and properties (soft and hard) of the wood.

9. When remaking wood, if the saw or ladle is jammed, the machine should be stopped first, the evacuation device should be fixed or the inner tip of the saw kerf should be inserted into the wood wedge, and the saw blade should be gradually withdrawn. At the same time, the saw blade should be carefully inspected or replaced.

10. Operators must cooperate closely to ensure accurate modification. After the work is completed, cut off the power first, park the handle (handle) in an empty position, remove wood chips, sawdust, water pollution, etc., and keep the equipment site clean.
