At room temperature and atmospheric pressure, carbon dioxide is a colorless, odorless gas; however, when the temperature drops to -78.5°C and the pressure rises to approximately 5.1 atmospheres, it bypasses the liquid phase and sublimates directly into a white solid-dry ice. The dry ice brick machine continuously injects liquid carbon dioxide into a molding chamber under high pressure. Through rapid cooling (within seconds) and precise pressure maintenance, it produces compact, uniform, and sharply defined dry ice blocks. Each block is consistent in weight with a smooth surface; they stack securely without slipping, fitting neatly into insulated containers like building blocks. Compared to other methods, the dry ice produced this way sublimates more slowly and releases cooling energy more steadily.
