Working Principle
The working principle of the stretch vacuum packing machine involves first stretching and forming the bottom film to create a cavity for the product. The product is then placed into the formed cavity. In the vacuum chamber, the product is vacuum-sealed while the top and bottom films are simultaneously heat-sealed together. After sealing, the package is cut both crosswise and lengthwise to form individual units. The finished packages are then conveyed to the next stage of processing, while the leftover film material is collected by the waste collection system.

Vacuum packaging involves removing the air from the packaging bag and sealing it, effectively isolating the food from external air and contaminants. In a vacuum environment, the growth of microorganisms slows down, while protein breakdown and fat oxidation or rancidity are significantly reduced.
Additionally, vacuum packaging promotes the activity of lactic acid bacteria and anaerobic bacteria, which lower the pH level to around 5.6–5.8. This further inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria and helps extend the product's shelf life.
To achieve optimal preservation, vacuum packaging is often used in combination with other methods such as dehydration, the addition of seasonings or preservatives, fermentation, or freezing.
