This processing method can gelatinize the starch in the feed, denature the protein, and improve the digestibility and nutritional value of the feed. The structure of the feed extruder is relatively complex, including a feeding system, an expansion chamber, a cooling system, a cutting system, etc., and can achieve continuous production.

From the perspective of product form, the feed produced by the feed pellet machine is in a dense granular shape, which not only tastes good, but is also easy to store and transport. The feed produced by the feed extruder takes on a porous and loose expanded shape, which is easier for animals to digest and absorb.
