The groundnut peanut picker is suitable for separating peanut seedlings and fruit after excavation. Once the peanuts are picked and sorted, the fruit is clean and free from impurities. After drying, it can be directly bagged for storage. The machine is easy to operate, delivers clean and unbroken fruit, and requires minimal power.
This machine can be connected to a tractor (diesel) via a belt link operation, allowing control over the machine speed to significantly reduce the breakage rate. It efficiently picks fruit directly after peanut harvest and can be used flexibly in the fields. It ensures clean-picked fruit with a low shell breakage rate, minimal loss, and works for both dry and wet stems. It performs clean threshing.
The peanut picker consists mainly of a frame, motor (or diesel engine), transmission parts, fruit-picking mechanism, fan cleaning unit, and vibration system. The machine is powered by either an electric motor or diesel engine. The peanuts enter the picking system through the feed port, where a roller rotates to separate the peanut stems from the fruit. The fruit and debris fall through the perforated holes onto the vibrating screen, with stems discharged through an outlet. As the screen vibrates, the clean fruit is separated from debris with the help of a fan, completing the entire picking process.
