For shavings and larger chips, a shredder is used to break them down before feeding them into the compactor. During compression, the cutting oil residue is collected by an integrated liquid extraction system, allowing for easy recycling and reuse.

The compactor transforms loose metal scraps into dense, cake-like briquettes.
