Working Principle
The core of the plum pitting machine is a rotating disc, similar to a large turntable. This disc is the stage where the date enters the de-pitting process. When the dates are poured onto the disc, they line up with the corresponding holes on the circumference of the disc. The position of each hole has been carefully designed to match the size and shape of the date it holds.
The needles are placed above the disk and when a date passes over them, the needles extend, carefully pushing the pit out of the fruit. Each needle removes the core without damaging the fruit.
