The working principle of a carrot peeling machine primarily relies on either mechanical friction or high-pressure water flow. In mechanical peeling mode, the machine is equipped with rotating brush rollers or abrasive belts. As the carrots move through the brushing section via a conveyor system, the high-speed rotating bristles or abrasive surfaces rub against the outer layer of the carrots, effectively removing the skin.

To enhance cleanliness, the machine is also fitted with a water spray system that continuously rinses away loosened peels and debris during the peeling process, ensuring a thorough and hygienic result.

Alternatively, some machines utilize high-pressure water peeling technology. This method employs a powerful water pump to generate strong jets that strike the surface of the carrots, removing the skin through the shear force of the water stream.
