Hazelnut Opening Machine

 

The hazelnut opening production line includes a soaking machine, an opening machine, and a hoist. Usually, five channels are a group, two groups can achieve 250-300kg/h, three groups can achieve 350-450kg/h, and four groups can achieve 500-600kg/h. Side panels, extrusion discs, and sheet metal parts are made of 201 stainless steel, and other parts are made of carbon steel.

1. Soak the hazelnuts in warm water at about 50 degrees for 30 minutes (the higher the temperature, the shorter the soaking time), then pour the hazelnuts into the hoist. You can soak the hazelnuts in a soaking machine or just soak them in the tank, it is up to you to choose the suitable soaking way.

 

2. From the hoist into the silo of the hazelnut opening machine, there is a screw in the silo, which can evenly distribute the hazelnuts in different channels. The channel acts as a buffer, allowing the hazelnuts to pass sequentially into the extrusion disc. More efficiently and can process the hazelnuts one by one.

 

3. The hazelnut opening machine is equipped with a steam generator, and the right temperature can make the hazelnuts open perfectly, without damage or failure. The pipes containing the steam are directed against the extrusion disc to steam the hazelnuts for a better opening. 

 

4. The effect of the opening is achieved by the extrusion of the two extrusion discs, and the hazelnuts after the opening will automatically fall into the conveyor belt and can be equipped with a dryer and packaging machine later. Due to there being some moisture in the hazelnuts, you can dry the hazelnuts in a drying machine or dry them under the sun.
