With the continuous advancement of technology, new and high-tech raw materials have emerged across various fields. Types and Features of Fiber Cutting Machines
The rotary blade fiber cutting machine features rotary blades mounted on a continuously rotating drum, inclined at specific positions and angles. The blade direction aligns with the rotation of the drum. A fixed straight blade is also part of the setup, ensuring tight coordination between the blades. The multiple rotary blades continuously compress and cut the materials delivered by the feeding system, with the cut pieces being automatically transported via a conveyor belt.
This design eliminates the slow speed and energy waste associated with the reciprocating motion of traditional tools. The unique inclined installation of the rotary blades reduces cutting resistance and noise, similar to the principle of curved scissors.
In the material feeding system, materials of varying lengths are transported via parallel, uniform-speed conveyor belts. Adjustable pressure rollers clamp the materials before they reach the blade, ensuring smooth feeding. The materials are laid flat, fed into the pressing and cutting tools, and then conveyed out after cutting.
Choosing a Fiber Cutting Machine
Selecting a fiber cutting machine depends primarily on the shape, type, length, and production output of the materials. Different raw materials require specific cutting approaches. Machines with cutting widths ranging from 400 to 800 millimeters and material thicknesses from 30 to 80 millimeters are available, allowing for adjustable cutting lengths between 5 and 300 millimeters. They can handle various materials, including scrap fabrics, old clothes, cotton fibers, glass fibers, and linen, with a production capacity of approximately 300 to 1500 kilograms per hour.
