When using the maize thresher, the following precautions should be taken into consideration:
1. Due to the harsh working environment of the thresher, operators should receive safety operation education beforehand to understand operating procedures and safety precautions, such as securing sleeves, wearing masks, and protective eyewear.
2. Before use, carefully inspect rotating parts for flexibility and lack of collision, ensure normal adjustment mechanisms, and verify the completeness and effectiveness of safety features. Make sure there are no foreign objects inside the machine and lubricate all lubrication points.
3. Clean the work site before starting the machine, removing any unrelated debris. Children should be prohibited from playing near the work site to prevent accidents.
4. When feeding corn cobs, ensure even feeding and strictly prevent the entry of stones, sticks, or other hard objects into the machine.
5. Ensure the firmness of the drive belt joints and never remove or hang the belt or allow any object to come into contact with the transmission parts while the machine is running.
6. The transmission ratio between the power source and the thresher should meet requirements to prevent personal injury accidents caused by excessive thresher speed and severe vibration leading to component damage or loosening of fasteners.
7. Avoid excessively long continuous operation periods. Generally, stop the machine after about 8 hours of work for inspection, adjustment, and lubrication to prevent severe friction resulting in wear, heating, or deformation.
8. When using a diesel engine as the power source for the thresher, a spark arrestor should be installed on the exhaust pipe to prevent fires.
9. In case of malfunction during operation, stop the machine before conducting repairs and adjustments.
