A client operating a waste plastic sandal recycling plant in Africa was facing a challenge: he needed to process the sandals into small pieces measuring 4–5 cm. He also sought a machine capable of automatically removing the metal buckles from the sandals, as the current manual removal process was highly inefficient and time-consuming. He turned to us-a professional manufacturer of shredders capable of handling a wide range of materials.

To meet his requirements, we recommended our Model 600 dual-shaft shredder, which is capable of reducing the plastic sandals to the desired 4–5 cm size. We also integrated a magnetic separator onto the discharge conveyor to extract the shredded metal buckles; this eliminated the need for manual pre-removal, significantly boosting production speed and reducing labor time. Additionally, the included infeed conveyor accelerated the feeding process, further saving labor and enhancing the overall efficiency of the production line.
We provided the client with videos demonstrating the equipment to help him better understand the machinery's coordination and performance, allowing him to see the actual processing results. Before shipment, we shared another video showing the machine testing process using plastic sandals; the client was highly satisfied and looked forward to receiving the equipment and putting it into production.
